Order and Shipping FAQs

How do I buy from Elizabrth May Designs?

 

 

You can purchase any of our products here on our website. Please see below for payment information.

What are your delivery charges?

We despatch orders with Royal Mail, and offer both Royal Mail 2nd Class postage and Royal Mail Signed For 1st Class. 

 

Delivery charges will vary on weight, so we offer up to four A6 greeting cards at a lower rate, and five greeting cards or other products for the rate of a large letter or small parcel.

 

Up to two A6 greeting cards: 

Royal Mail 2nd Class (Normally arrives in 2-3 business days)     £0.75

Royal Mail Signed For 1st Class (Normally arrives in 1-2 business days, requires siqnature)     £2.35

 

Three or more A6 greeting cards, or other products:

Royal Mail 2nd Class (Normally arrives in 2-3 business days)     £1.95

Royal Mail Signed For 1st Class (Normally arrives in 1-2 business days, requires siqnature)     £3.65

 

We offer free standard delivery on all orders over £30.00

Do you ship worldwide?

 

We currently only ship within mainland UK, but we are looking into shipping worldwide in the future. While we don’t typically deliver worldwide, if you are looking to make a purchase from outside the UK, please get in touch (sales@elizabethmaydesigns.co.uk) to discuss the possibilities.

 

How can I pay for my order?

We use Shopify and Paypal to manage our payments. You can use all major credit and debit cards to pay for your order as well as ApplePay and GooglePay.

When will I receive my order?

We aim to dispatch your order within 2 working days but it can take longer in busy periods. 

Mainland UK orders typically arrive within 1-3 working days of dispatch but may take up to 7 working days.

Can I arrange for my order to be delivered to a different address from my billing address?

 

You can enter a separate delivery address during the check out process.

Can I alter my order once it has been placed?

If your order hasn’t been dispatched yet, contact us as soon as possible at sales@elizabethmaydesigns.co.uk and we will amend it for you.  

Can I cancel my order once it has been placed?

If we haven't sent it yet, contact us as soon as possible at sales@elizabethmaydesigns.co.uk and we will cancel it for you.  If it has been dispatched, please see our return policy below.

How do I know the status of my order?

Once you have placed an order with us you should receive an email confirming we have received it.  Please check your spam folder if you don’t hear from us.  We will then also send a confirmation email letting you know your order has been dispatched.

How do I return an item?

If you are unhappy with your purchase for whatever reason, you can return it within 14 days of the date you placed your order. 

If you are returning it because you have changed your mind, you will to need return it at your own cost. Items must be in their original packaging and condition to receive a refund.

Please email us (sales@elizabethmaydesigns.co.uk) before you return an item so we can give you a return number. 

What if my item is damaged?

If an item is damaged or faulty, you can return it and we will refund postage and the cost of the item in full. 

We do our best to package our products securely but occasionally something may get damaged in transit.

If an item has clearly been damaged in transit, we request that you photograph the packaging and the item so that we can take it up with the carrier.

Please email us (sales@elizabethmaydesigns.co.uk) before you return an item so we can give you a return number.

I haven't received my order yet, what should I do?

Mainland UK orders typically arrive within 1-3 working days of dispatch but sometimes it can take up to 7 working days.

Please note, delivery times are being significantly delayed by Covid-19 measures.

If you have not received your order within 10 working days of your order being dispatched, please contact us at sales@elizabethmaydesigns.co.uk and we will resolve the matter as soon as possible.
